Job Title: Provider Reimbursement Consultant

RubinBrown LLP is seeking a skilled Provider Reimbursement Consultant to join our healthcare consulting specialty group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing contractual review work for various clients, developing detailed work plans, and providing reimbursement-related financial and data analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and complete contractual review work for various clients
  • Develop detailed, indexed, structured work plans for engagements
  • Prepare workpapers, documentation, and correspondence related to government and third-party appeals, reopens, cost reports, and reimbursement-related financial and data analyses
  • Provide follow-up correspondence and prepare logs and Excel spreadsheets to aid in appeals
  • Direct communication/interface with clients related to engagements, including tracking correspondence
  • Recognize and incorporate new items into existing work plans
  • Stay current with reimbursement topics affecting our clients and industry
  • Maintain a minimum billability rate of 75%
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required
  • CPA preferred
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Strong analytical capability, independent thinker, and good decision-making skills
  • Proven team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work with senior executives and business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, and presentation skills
  • Strong computer and technology knowledge and skills
  • Exemplary client satisfaction skills
  • Ability to process industry information to develop value-added client services
Working Conditions:
  • Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
  • Travel for this position could be up to 50%
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crawl, and move throughout the office or client site
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30 – 50 pounds
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, etc.
  • Ability to function in quiet to moderate noise level
