AVI Foodsystems is seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Executive Chef, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The compensation package for this position includes an annual salary of $55,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of cooks and other team members engaged in food procurement, storage, preparation, and serving.
- Assist in the preparation of budget estimates and justifications for the food service program.
- Plan and direct the ordering, receiving, and accounting of all food products, supplies, and equipment for the food operation.
- Evaluate existing operational methods and procedures of the food service program for effectiveness and efficiency, initiating changes as necessary.
- Interview, select, manage, and develop hourly team members.
- Oversee food safety to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies.
- Participate in the development and adherence of policies and procedures for the food service program.
Requirements:
- A formal culinary degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in food service chef/management.
- Prior experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
- Proven ability to meet and maintain budget goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
