Patient Care Technician
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at GTT, LLC. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist licensed nurses with pre and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
* Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
* Report any significant information or changes in the patient's condition to the supervisor.
* Assist with emergency operational procedures.
* Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest.
**Requirements:**
* Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility is preferred.
* Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
* CPR Certification.
**Education:**
* High school degree or G.E.D.
* Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
**Note:** Only non-local/traveler candidates will be considered. Local candidates living within 50 miles of Arleta will not be considered.
