Job Description

We are currently seeking Crowd Management Specialists to assist with events.

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY

Weekly compensation

Flexible scheduling options

Compensation starts at $16.00 per hour without a guard card

$17.00 per hour with a guard card - FREE training and financial support available for licensing

No prior experience necessary

As a Crowd Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests by checking bags, enforcing access protocols, and implementing policies to create a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to fulfill the role effectively. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

  • Assist in all phases of event preparation and execution.
  • Facilitate proper entry into venues, which may include ticket collection, wristband verification, and directing guest traffic.
  • Conduct guest screenings upon entry through bag checks, metal detection, and ID verification.
  • Safeguard guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at critical points.
  • Respond promptly to crowd control challenges and provide assistance for guests when necessary.
  • Understand and adhere to the policies and regulations of various venues and events.
  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive and express gratitude as they depart.
  • Offer guests helpful directions and recommendations to enhance their overall experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on local laws and regulations.
  • Successful completion of a background check and a post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required.
  • Professional demeanor with strong judgment and discretion.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
