We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Continental. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on high-speed automation equipment, tooling, and associated machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Meet or exceed production standards and reduce product reject rates through proactive troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop and implement quality, cycle time, and process performance improvements.
- Monitor and analyze measurement systems, SPC, and other performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Review product FMEA's and Control Plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize basic hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other test equipment to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic devices.
- Perform basic PLC programming skills for troubleshooting equipment and associated processes.
- Facilitate repairs or adjustments to improve the performance of the line and comply with quality standards.
- AAS Degree or within 12 months of obtaining, or a minimum of 2 years relevant maintenance or repair experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Relocation is not provided for this position.
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline plus 2-5 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance.
- Possess a State Approved Journeyman's Card.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Automation of processes.
- Blueprint/schematic reading, access and read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings in SAP/CSE.
