About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing a variety of equipment while following prescribed procedures.
  • Calibrate equipment and follow radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
  • Provide care for patients of all ages, from birth to adults, and ensure their safety and well-being during medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
