Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and adhering to all protocols, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to A.L.A.R.A. programs and radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient data.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited JRCNMT nuclear medicine program.
- Experience: 2nd year student or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: BLS Certified.
Additional Requirements:
- Possess a thorough knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
