Annually, we support over 1,000 children and adults, ranging from ages 4 to 85, across six counties in the St. Louis metropolitan area. As a Community Support Specialist at Sunnyhill, Inc., you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to become active members of their communities, achieve personal goals, and fulfill their aspirations.

Immediate Hiring Available

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain detailed documentation of activities and track progress towards goals as specified in each participant's Individualized Support Plan on a monthly basis.
  • Follow all departmental guidelines and adhere to paperwork deadlines as set by Team Leadership.
  • Ensure participant safety through regular emergency drills conducted quarterly.
  • Foster consistent and positive communication with program supervisors, guardians, and other service providers.
  • Provide face-to-face engagement with each participant weekly, as determined by the caseload assigned by ISLA administrators.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week, which includes both billable (face-to-face) and non-billable (administrative) time.
  • Record non-billable time accurately as drive time and for completing progress notes according to funding source guidelines.
  • Attend all scheduled team meetings as designated by Team Leadership.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; 60 hours of college credit in Human Services and/or 2 years of relevant work experience in Human Services is preferred.
  • Possession of a personal motor vehicle, valid Class E (Chauffeur's) license, and adequate auto insurance as mandated by state law.
  • Successful completion of police, DFS, and DMV record checks.
