We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist II, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI exams: Conduct MRI scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses and injuries.
- Prepare patients for exams: Obtain and record patient history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort.
- Review MRI images: Ensure the quality of MRI images and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist with patient care: Provide post-procedural care for patients of all ages and offer resource information as directed.
Requirements:
- Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
- License: ARRT Registration eligible.
- Certification: CPR required.
- Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
