Job Summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Fuel Truck Driver System Operator to join our team at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing fuel servicing operations, including refueling and defueling, using mobile fuel servicing equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fuel servicing operations, including refueling and defueling, using mobile fuel servicing equipment and trucks.
  • Operate fuel servicing equipment, including mobile fuel servicing trucks, portable pantograph, hose sets, and fixed direct fuel servicing systems.
  • Pass a Contractor-administered base and flight-line familiarization test, practical equipment/facility competency tests, and be certified as qualified.
  • Meet all security requirements to work on contract, including a criminal background check, police report, U.S. Government background investigation, and applicable base access requirements.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of documented experience and be qualified to perform fuel servicing operations.
  • Pass a DOT physical and random drug/alcohol testing requirements.
  • Be physically capable of performing all duties, including climbing on tank trucks to perform checks and visual inspections and lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge, including changing tires, checking and adding oil, etc.
  • Be able to physically maneuver a 20-foot fuel hose and nozzle weighing 60 pounds to connect and refill fuel truck.
  • Understand and abide by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.
  • Be a US Citizen and be able to pass the required background checks for the position through the military and civilian systems.
  • Be able to obtain a US government Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Be able to work flexible work hours/days (including Holidays) as needed to meet schedule.

  • Class A CDL with Tanker & Hazmat endorsements.
