Versar Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fuel Truck Driver System Operator to join our team at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing fuel servicing operations, including refueling and defueling, using mobile fuel servicing equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile fuel servicing equipment and trucks to perform fuel servicing operations
  • Refuel and defuel aircraft and generators using portable pantograph, hose sets, and fixed direct fuel servicing systems
  • Pass a Contractor-administered base and flight-line familiarization test and practical equipment/facility competency tests
  • Hold a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and maintain a valid driver's license for the state of Nevada
  • Meet all security requirements, including a federal background check, police report, and U.S. Government background investigation
  • Pass a DOT physical examination and random drug/alcohol testing
  • Be physically capable of performing all duties, including climbing on tank trucks and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge and be able to maneuver a 20-foot fuel hose and nozzle weighing 20 pounds
  • Understand and abide by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct
  • Be a US Citizen and able to pass required background checks
  • Be able to obtain a US government Common Access Card
  • Work flexible work hours/days as needed to meet schedule

Requirements

  • Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
