About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mission Performance Specialist. This role will play a critical part in the development of our next-generation lunar lander, focusing on the integration of the Fluids and Propulsion subsystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional trade studies to optimize spacecraft performance
  • Run integrated analyses to ensure safe and repeatable spaceflight
  • Define interfaces that impact the design and integration of the spacecraft
  • Contribute to architecture studies, concept development, and verification planning
  • Generate Concept of Operations (ConOps)
  • Coordinate constraints and conflicting requirements across multiple disciplines
Requirements
  • B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical subject area
  • Proficiency in MATLAB
  • Technical knowledge in the Fluids and Propulsion subsystem
  • Experience analyzing and managing spacecraft technical budgets and margins, particularly propellant budget
  • Highly knowledgeable of systems engineering practices, integration processes, and mission/safety critical systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Electrical, or related technical subject area
  • Experience with fluids analysis verification approaches
  • Technical knowledge in multiple subsystems, particularly mission design, thermal, and guidance navigation & control
