This HVAC TB Technician Team Lead Controls position is a pivotal role at Johnson Controls, responsible for overseeing the design, configuration, and operation of HVAC building control systems.

As a seasoned professional with a strong background in mechanical control systems, you will lead a diverse team to achieve growth and efficiency in service operations through effective communication and integration of advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead field technician activities, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency of service and repair.
  • Analyze performance for profitability and compliance, maintaining safety standards.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction while balancing financial goals.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of field technicians, planning monthly routes.

About You

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in programming, installing, and/or commissioning controls systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, mechanical, electrical, or HVAC service industries.
  • Familiarity with system-level controllers, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in drafting tools like Visio.
