Schedule Details:

Shifts will vary between 7:45 AM and 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday.


As a Registered Nurse in our outpatient clinic, you will deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established guidelines and standards. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, coordinate, and implement individualized patient care plans.


Utilizing the nursing process, you will provide continuous care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will be responsible for recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions and prioritizing care based on essential needs.


Your role will include providing triage and consultation to patients and their families, adhering to organizational protocols. Effective communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals is crucial, as is the documentation of accurate and timely patient information.


In preparation for patient examinations, you will obtain vital signs and update relevant health information. You will also perform laboratory procedures while adhering to infection control guidelines and assist physicians with various procedures.


Administering medications as per physician orders, including immunizations and other treatments, will be part of your responsibilities. You will initiate and manage IV therapy and provide patient education on treatment plans and self-care.


Additionally, you will assist in organizing and maintaining exam rooms and lab areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels. You will also participate in the maintenance and quality monitoring of clinic equipment.

Scheduled Hours
Monday 8-4, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 7-5, Thursday 8-4, Friday 8-5, with potential adjustments based on departmental needs.

Licenses & Certifications

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice, and


Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within 6 months unless exempted by the department leader.


Degrees

Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Required Functional Experience

No prior experience necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for developing rapport with patients and colleagues. You should possess excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, along with demonstrated leadership skills.

Proficiency in computer skills, including navigation within a Windows operating system and use of electronic medical records, is required.
