Job Summary

The Corporate Accounting Intern will play a key role in supporting our accounting team in our Cincinnati, OH office. This role will provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience in various accounting systems, develop Excel skills, and work on special projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly accounting process and reporting cycle, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Perform various special projects throughout the month, such as data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Develop techniques to reconcile accounting on the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
  • Interact with other professionals at varying levels throughout the company, developing skills in communication and teamwork.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
Requirements
  • Current undergraduate student enrolled in a degree-seeking program studying Accounting or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a team as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
