Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OB Ultrasonographer to join our team at Baystate Health. As a key member of our Maternal-Fetal Medicine department, you will be responsible for performing high-risk obstetric ultrasounds, working closely with on-site perinatologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maternal-fetal medicine high-risk obstetric ultrasounds, including first-trimester ultrasounds, detailed anatomy level one & level two ultrasounds in the second and third trimester, transvaginal ultrasounds, maternal and fetal Doppler studies, BPP, and 3D ultrasounds.
  • Assist in the operating room for fetal procedures and adhere to system and department compliance policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Use independent judgment and apply learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Educate patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed, demonstrating professional behavior/conduct in all interactions.
  • Maintain AIUM standards of practice and AIUM standards on patient safety.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in Medical Ultrasound.
  • ARDMS certification in OB-GYN, with additional certifications in 1st Trimester Screenings and Fetal Echocardiogram within one and two years of hire, respectively.
  • Two or greater years of experience in OB/GYN sonography, with a strong background in high-risk obstetric ultrasounds.
