About the Position

We are looking for a motivated Licensed Mental Health Associate to join our team at Maricopa County (AZ). In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of mental health support.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with the multi-disciplinary team to provide individual and group psycho-education and crisis intervention services under the supervision of an independently licensed mental health professional. Your responsibilities will include developing and coordinating patient discharge/re-entry plans, obtaining relevant treatment records, and coordinating care with family members, community providers, and others relevant to the patient's care and community re-entry plan.

This is an overnight position with shift differential pay available. We offer a competitive salary range of $64,714 - $92,427 Annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes tuition reimbursement, exceptional work-life balance, and opportunities for growth and development within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • One year of behavioral health experience, preferably in a correctional health setting.
  • A valid, unrestricted license issued by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), or Licensed Associate Psychologist.
