Position OverviewPRIMARY FUNCTION
- Facilitate the origination of all Neighborhood Housing loan and grant offerings; assess the eligibility of potential homebuyers and borrowers; promote Neighborhood Housing products and services; generate loan applications to achieve annual production targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote Neighborhood Housing loan products and services to various organizations to increase awareness; provide comprehensive information regarding loan options; assess the qualifications of prospective homebuyers; nurture relationships with external partners; act as a point of contact for loan clients.
- Track the progress of loan applications and engage in problem resolution; stay informed about loan programs and industry developments; participate in mandatory training sessions and meetings; carry out additional assigned tasks.
SUCCESS METRICS
- Completion of loan closings in alignment with annual objectives; submission of complete application files within designated timeframes; execution of marketing strategies; ratio of approved loans to closings; prompt and informative responses to inquiries.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: Licensed Mortgage Loan Specialist; must fulfill registration and certification criteria within a specified period after hiring; flexible working hours are essential.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in external sales within the mortgage sector; familiarity with Encompass loan processing software.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
- Ability to meet client expectations, respond swiftly, and manage challenging situations effectively.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Capable of establishing and maintaining professional relationships and building trust.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Strong written and verbal communication; adept at organizing in dynamic environments; ability to interpret architectural plans; experience in drafting repair scopes and cost estimates; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Housing Developer Pro; understanding of construction trades; capacity to manage multiple projects with integrity.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
