About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as an Associate Professor or Professor, Tenure Track in the Department of Surgery. The successful candidate will have expertise in Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy, Cell Biology, and Molecular Biology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an independent, externally-funded research program in Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy.
  • Develop and implement cellular therapies for treating cancer patients.
  • Collaborate with clinicians on clinical projects and clinical trials.
  • Maintain a strong publication record in Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy.
Requirements
  • Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Postdoctoral experience with a strong publication record in Cancer Immunology/Immunotherapy.
  • Expertise in adoptive cell transfer in animal tumor models, development of cell therapy approaches using human materials, and genetic engineering of mouse and human immune cells.
  • Demonstrated collaborative experience with both basic scientists and clinicians.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical trial and clean room expertise.
