About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Safety Consultant to join our team at BBSI. As a Risk and Safety Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our business-owner clients maximize their investment in human capital through the establishment of best practices in enterprise risk management and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to our business-owner clients and internal team of experts in risk management and occupational health and safety.
  • Develop and implement risk management and occupational health and safety strategies that align with client and BBSI initiatives and profitability.
  • Partner with client companies to educate and influence them on matters involving the promotion of a proactive risk management culture, occupational health and safety, and behavior-based safety.
  • Conduct facility, job site, and pre-construction surveys to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regulatory compliance consultations, including OSHA compliance, and develop return-to-work programs and implementation strategies.
  • Identify and develop safety champions within client companies and provide training on occupational safety programs.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in risk management, occupational health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting root cause analysis for risk mitigation and benchmarking, measuring, analyzing, and articulating the value of risk management initiatives, practices, and policies.
  • Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to business owners and interact with professionals in multiple industries.
What We Offer
  • A starting salary range of $90,000-110,000 annually, with factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications affecting starting pay.
  • Incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
