Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Excellent Healthcare & PRP Services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, working closely with them to address their mental health needs and achieve their goals.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and a valid license as a Licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor. You will have at least one year of experience working in mental health, providing counseling, psychotherapy, and related social services to individuals. A self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of integrity, patience, compassion, care, and professionalism in dealing with pressured, unpredictable, and sensitive situations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including psychotherapy, supportive therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with family, community, and external health agencies to coordinate therapy and provide resources to clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, including evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Make arrangements for inpatient care as needed and facilitate admission to hospitals or other institutions.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Valid license as a Licensed Social Worker or Professional Counselor.
- At least one year of experience working in mental health, providing counseling, psychotherapy, and related social services to individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of integrity, patience, compassion, care, and professionalism.
