About the Role

The Leadless Clinical Specialist is a key member of the Abbott team, responsible for providing technical, clinical, and educational support to ensure the safe adoption and growth of Abbott's leadless technology. This role requires a strong understanding of the medical device industry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic programs to educate healthcare providers on indications for Abbott's leadless CRM portfolio.
  • Provide clinical expertise for current and new customers, including presentations, data-driven analysis, and deep product knowledge.
  • Work with customers to influence the outcome of procedures through presentations, data-driven analysis, and deep product knowledge.
  • Provide technical support in accordance with the instructions for use/trial protocol, and best-practices to facilitate procedural consistency and best clinical outcomes.
  • Support site performance and facilitate safe growth, including education and training activities with physicians, support staff, and Abbott personnel.
  • Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding overall leadless CRM products.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge, including current published leadless CRM and relevant literature.
  • Liaise with marketing for technology improvements and next generation needs.
  • Complete administrative reporting as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, engineering, or equivalent/related experience.
  • 3-5 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent, ideally with CRM products.
  • Comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively.
  • High-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, to include labs and hospital settings.
  • Proven success displaying confidence in leading & influencing customers; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed.
  • Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.
  • Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
  • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, Microsoft Office.
  • This position requires a considerable amount of business travel.
  • Professional training/education certification or designation.
  • Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen.
