Psychiatric Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Therapeutic Counseling and Consulting, a growing group practice in Richmond, Virginia.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on medication management for individuals across the state of Virginia through telemedicine and in-person appointments.
This role offers a flexible work schedule, with opportunities to work part-time to full-time hours, depending on caseload. The salary for this position is $ 120,000 per year, with benefits including 401k Retirement Plan, 80 hours of PTO after 90 days, and professional clinical and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic, compassionate, and ethical medication management care to clients
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in administrative duties and group meetings as scheduled
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited nursing school
- Active Virginia State NP license and DEA license in good standing
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to practice independently or have an established collaborating MD
