Job Title: Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee

At Smartpool LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee to join our team. As a Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee, you will assist our experienced team members in maintaining pools at client facilities, ensuring the highest level of water quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining filled pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments.
  • Empty pools periodically to perform deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces.
  • Assist in testing pool water for pH, chlorine, and other data, and receive training to ensure correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water.
  • Calculate and add chemical treatments to maintain pH balance, eliminate contaminants, or correct other problems.
  • Inspect pool and equipment, and assist in completing and maintaining daily logs outlining chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of pool cleaning chemicals and equipment related to swimming pools.
  • Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment.
  • Math skills to calculate chemical additives and ratios.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of related experience required.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time.
  • Must have adequate sight and hearing to properly interpret water analysis, equipment readings, and complete recordkeeping.
  • Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring pools and facilities.
Salary:

$18 - $20 per hour
