FTE: 0.9

Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72

Work Shift: Day: 8 hours


Role Overview:

The CT Technologist collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging procedures are performed. This role provides imaging services as outlined by Title 17 (Radiologic Health Branch) and Title 22 (Department of Health Services) for the State of California.

The technologist applies principles of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and modification of patient imaging care as an ongoing process.


Important Notes for Los Gatos Campus:

Due to the hospital's recognition as a Designated Primary Stroke Center (PSC) by the Santa Clara County EMS Stroke Care System, the CT Technologist at this campus is not relieved of all duties during a 30-minute meal period. This meal period will be considered an "on duty" meal period and counted as time worked, only permitted when the nature of the work does not allow for complete relief from duty and with a written agreement between the parties.


Qualifications:

Preferred: One (1) year of experience in CT.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT(R)) and must be registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)) upon hire or within four months of hire.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current California CRT Certificate.
  • Current California Fluoroscopy Certificate.
  • Continues to perform Diagnostic X-ray based on departmental needs.
  • Basic Lifesaving Certification (BLS) - American Heart Association.
  • California Certification in Venipuncture.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $77.90 USD Hourly

El Camino Health will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions unless it creates undue hardship for the hospital or poses a direct threat that cannot be mitigated.

This role requires medium work, involving standing for the majority of the shift with the ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. Work may also involve sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
