Job Summary:

OHL North America is seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Plant Supervisor to manage daily plant operations and coordinate with internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating aggregate requirements with quarries to optimize plant inventory levels.
  • Ensuring efficient plant operations in line with the Asphalt Plants Operations Manager's efficiency targets.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Construction, to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve plant productivity and reduce costs.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to plant staff to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Asphalt Plant Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Managing plant operations, including production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Coordinating with external customers, including suppliers and contractors, to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase plant efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing regular reports to the Asphalt Plants Operations Manager on plant performance and progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the Asphalt Plant Supervisor will need:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt plant operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role.
