We are looking for a talented ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team at Apex Systems. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing operational program and project support to program manager and team leads.
  • Analyzing and documenting business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ascertain system and network requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, controls, User Acceptance Testing criteria, and execution of user's acceptance.
  • Writing and editing documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Job Aids.
  • Conducting Quality Reviews of documentation to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Increasing proficiency in specific business disciplines such as Operations Management.
  • Create and distribute operational reports as requested.
  • Facilitating projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to produce better business outcomes.
  • Collecting and maintaining program/project metrics and develop improvements in metrics.
  • Facilitating project activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Hosting and facilitating daily/weekly/monthly project/operational meetings with government and contractors.
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.
  • Developing and producing documentation, reports, and presentation slide decks.
  • Preparing and presenting briefing materials to staff, executives, and federal customers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a DHS EOD clearance (program can hold candidates with currently active security clearances up to the Top Secret level).
  • Associate's degree with 12 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, Master's degree with 7 years of experience, OR 16+ years of experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of ServiceNow BA experience.
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Attention to detail and resourcefulness.
  • 7 years of direct scheduling experience, preferably working on other large Government contracts.
  • Expert at using Kanban boards and agile methodologies.
  • Expert of Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited to no guidance.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on experience.
