Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunities

At UPMC, we are committed to providing the best care possible to our patients. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at UPMC Presbyterian, you will have the opportunity to work in a Magnet designated hospital and be part of a team that is recognized for nursing excellence.
The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a generous sign-on bonus, with new graduates receiving $10,000 and experienced LPNs receiving $12,500. This bonus is available for a two-year commitment to UPMC.
Job Description:- The LPN will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment in settings where nursing takes place.
- The LPN will communicate with licensed professional nurses and other healthcare team members to seek guidance when patient care needs exceed the LPN's scope of practice or knowledge.
- The LPN will obtain instruction and supervision when implementing new or unfamiliar nursing practices or procedures.
We require Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, as well as licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Act 34 clearance is also required.
