We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician II to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate various imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Administer contrast media as required and maintain accurate records of patient procedures.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic radiology techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Two years of experience as a Radiology Technician, with a strong preference for CT/Ultrasound/Nuclear experience/training.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, with successful completion of formal computer courses preferred.
- AART Registered/Registered in another modality, with BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
