In this role, you will be tasked with designing and executing the comprehensive architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with both business objectives and technological standards.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders, managing architectural projects, and providing technical direction to foster innovation and create scalable, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and disseminate the organization's architectural vision, strategy, and principles to stakeholders, ensuring they align with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Direct the design and execution of the overall architecture framework, which encompasses enterprise, solution, and technical architectures, guiding the development of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Engage with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to interpret and convert business needs into architectural solutions.
  • Establish and uphold architectural standards, best practices, and patterns, ensuring consistency, reusability, and scalability across projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring compliance with architectural principles and encouraging the adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct evaluations of technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement, as well as the integration of new technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and maintain an architecture roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and investments to meet business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Participate in an agile development environment and adopt DevOps practices, promoting a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous delivery.
  • Assess and mitigate architectural risks and challenges, recommending strategies for risk management and contingency planning.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of technology vendors and solution providers, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business needs.
  • Guide and develop architects and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Due to federal regulations, only U.S. Citizens will be considered. Candidates with dual citizenship are not eligible.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret level clearance.
  • Position requires availability for 24/7 operations of mission-critical systems, including shift work.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a Chief Architect or related role is required.
