Job Title: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Flex Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Flex Team at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and families in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments, documenting patient responses and outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree with current enrollment in a BSN program.
  • 1 year of experience in nursing, with a focus on critical care or pediatric nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
