Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Coordinator to plan and implement menu changes and special events
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • ServSafe certification
  • Local Health Department Food Handler Card
