Job Summary:
Careers Integrated Resources Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Surgical ICU to join our team. As a RN Surgical ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician orders on assigned patients.
- Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations of patients, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed, initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Interact with family and patient in sharing care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Some computer skills.
