We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to spearhead our full-stack development efforts at Vertafore. With over 50 years of experience advancing the insurance distribution channel, we offer a unique opportunity to shape the future of this dynamic sector.

About the Role

$85,000 - $135,000 + VIP Bonus

This is an exciting chance to lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the technical vision and strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Full-Stack Development: Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications, utilizing modern technologies and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues, often under tight deadlines, and drive results-oriented solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong background in Python web frameworks (Django or similar)
  • Experience with Restful APIs and Vue 3 or similar reactive JS framework
  • Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose
  • Proficiency in security best practices for software and data platforms
