Job Summary:
The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Graduate Nurse Residency Program. As a Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate the interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, recognizing changes in patient conditions and adapting plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to integrate assessment and input of the patient, family, and team.
- Participate in unit-specific certifications, consultation with experts, in-services/rounds, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to enhance professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Less than 6 Months of RN Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing (Kansas) or compact license
- CPR/ AED/ BLS - Other BLS within 14 days
