Position Summary:
The Finance Team Leader plays a crucial role in guiding the Finance department, facilitating data-driven decision-making through effective budget management, forecasting, and internal reporting as the company evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of annual budgets, from initial planning to final review.
- Manage the preparation of regular financial forecasts, enhancing accuracy and relevance.
- Direct expense allocation and transfer pricing processes to improve revenue evaluation.
- Supervise monthly financial reporting to provide variance analysis and other internal reports as necessary.
- Act as the primary contact for financial assessments of new projects and capital investments.
- Lead initiatives to manage expenses by collaborating with various departments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Identify and rectify data integrity issues through targeted initiatives.
- Maintain credibility through respectful interactions, demonstrating financial expertise and aligning with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with operational leaders as required.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and accountability in all tasks.
Leadership Responsibilities:
The Finance Team Leader will supervise a team of at least one analyst, which includes:
- Participating in recruitment and training of new team members.
- Ensuring departmental processes are documented and adhered to by all team members.
- Facilitating constructive feedback between team members.
- Prioritizing team objectives to achieve key goals.
- Setting performance goals for team members and holding them accountable.
- Identifying opportunities for team development and training.
- Modeling the organization's core values and encouraging similar behavior in team members.
- Providing guidance and addressing performance issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Finance, with a solid understanding of Accounting principles and processes.
- Experience presenting financial outcomes to operational leaders.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and business drivers.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Prior leadership experience in finance is highly preferred.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000, based on experience. Silencer Central offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
