KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Enhance customer satisfaction by achieving 'Mat First Delivery' objectives,

⦁ Optimize Walmart OTIF workflows (EDI, Tableau reporting, Item 360) to minimize chargebacks.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND TASKS
The Traffic Specialist is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the receiving process. This includes monitoring inbound international and domestic shipments for all distribution centers, managing inbound traffic, and processing purchase orders for shipping and receiving.

The role also involves handling freight logistics, including truckloads, less-than-container loads, drayage, and airfreight, while establishing reporting systems for management review. The position demands a fast-paced work ethic and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

⦁ Monitor and trace containers, air freight, and domestic deliveries.
⦁ Review and authorize accessorial charges and freight bills to ensure accurate rate application, schedule delivery appointments, and manage empty container notifications.
⦁ Approve arrival notifications.
⦁ Validate commercial invoices and packing lists for international shipments.
