About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DOD Contracts Project Manager/Senior Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a variety of DOD contracts, ensuring that all project requirements are met, and overseeing the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of DOD contract projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure project requirements are met and work is conducted in accordance with industry standards.
  • Review and approve project designs, ensuring compliance with DOD contract requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is conducted in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Conduct regular project reviews, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in accordance with DOD contract requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, developments, and changes in DOD contract requirements.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • PE Certification in Texas is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DOD contracts project management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of DOD contract requirements and industry standards.
  • BS Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related environmental science.
  • Experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant technology.
