We are in search of a proficient, organized, and motivated Project Director to enhance our dynamic team.

Role Overview

The Project Director is tasked with leading and managing teams while implementing processes to guarantee that projects are completed on schedule and yield the intended outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and managing expectations
  • Developing comprehensive project plans
  • Defining project scope
  • Identifying project risks
  • Overseeing project implementation
  • Assigning specific tasks to team members

Essential Duties:

  • Effectively scale, plan, execute, monitor, manage, and finalize projects.
  • Facilitate project planning meetings, gather requirements, document workflows, and develop detailed project communications.
  • Collaborate to maintain alignment among internal and external teams, driving accountability.
  • Engage with stakeholders and department managers to ensure alignment of expectations, visibility of progress, and awareness of project risks and obstacles.
  • Support organizational stability initiatives by identifying process gaps and developing training for team members to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Act as a scrum master by facilitating project planning meetings, overseeing task creation and assignment, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain a commitment tracking tool and project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, and risks.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of projects and processes is maintained in a shared repository.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of years in IT project management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate technical discussions and influence project scope and task ownership.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input from others.
  • Experience with integrated multi-vendor applications.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Thorough understanding of the project management life cycle.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum development life cycles.
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours or weekend project implementations as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Visio, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with JIRA is preferred.
