Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee service repairs, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects within the apartment community. This role involves coordinating tasks among team members to ensure efficient completion of service requests while adhering to quality standards. Timely unit turnovers are essential, resulting in high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Perform advanced plumbing tasks, drywall repairs, and appliance installations.
  • Conduct carpentry work and manage complex electrical issues.
  • Understand and apply schematic and wiring diagrams.
  • Install and repair ceramic tiles.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is essential.
  • Strong background in multi-family property maintenance is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • EPA Universal Certification is highly desirable.
  • HVAC experience and certification are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using technology for training and administrative tasks.
  • Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 80 lbs. with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including climbing, walking, kneeling, standing, and bending for extended periods.
