Job Description

Plasman is seeking a skilled Robotics and Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and mechanical products.

  • Design and develop mechanical products, equipment, and systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to design and develop mechanical products.
  • Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals and specifications to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, automated systems design, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, automated systems design, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
