Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer/Forms Specialist to join our team for a critical project within the financial service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing database applications, with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support various applications and business needs.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle Forms applications to ensure seamless interaction with Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate with application teams to create optimal solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues with PL/SQL code and Oracle Forms, ensuring efficient query execution and minimal system impact.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation related to PL/SQL development and Oracle Forms applications.
  • Support database upgrades and migrations, ensuring the integrity and performance of all database components.
  • Collaborate with DBA and infrastructure teams to ensure database stability and security.
  • Implement data validation, data integrity, and data quality mechanisms within applications.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Strong expertise in developing, maintaining, and debugging Oracle Forms applications.
  • Proven experience in creating efficient and scalable database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and triggers.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database version 11g or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database principles, SQL optimization techniques, and data modeling.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex database architectures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Oracle APEX and other Oracle tools.
  • Experience with Oracle Reports or other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud database platforms like Oracle Cloud or AWS RDS for Oracle.
  • Exposure to integration with other systems via APIs or web services.
