Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Royal Moore Auto Center. As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles. If you have experience working with Toyota, Subaru, GMC, Buick, or Mazda, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide an estimate of time required for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus.
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic computer competencies.
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
