Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating advanced imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
  • Communicate patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written correspondence
  • Ensure documentation is complete and accurate regarding all aspects of patient care
  • Operate imaging and specialty equipment, staying up-to-date on medical device uses
  • Assume responsibility for direct care of all procedures performed in this area
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide quality care during imaging
  • Assist with patient and family education, as well as support research activities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, providing complex technical care as needed
  • Assist with performing and planning multiple diagnostic procedures in a timely manner
  • Act as a resource for students and junior technologists
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT
  • Minimum of two years of experience, with one year in MRI
  • Advanced certification in MRI preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
