Safety and Quality Data Analyst

The Corporate Safety and Quality Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our operations. This position is responsible for providing technical support, analyzing data, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Trend Analysis and Reporting: Lead the analysis of safety and quality incidents, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Database Management: Maintain, update, and audit company safety injury and quality incident databases, as well as training records.
- Salus Platform Administration: Serve as the primary administrator and point of contact for the Salus platform.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of company injury/illness logs in compliance with OSHA, CALOSHA, and MSHA standards.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare and present monthly safety and quality reports and dashboards for regional and company-wide leadership.
- Training and Development: Coordinate safety, quality, and leadership training, ensuring materials and sessions are up-to-date and effectively communicated.
- Site Visits and Audits: Visit work sites and branches as needed to validate information, perform audits, and provide training.
- Policies and Procedures: Maintain and distribute safety and quality policies, procedures, and documentation; provide these to internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and health programs, training, and data analysis. Associate's degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: At least one advanced certification in Safety is required: CALOSHA 10, 30, or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of safety and occupational health compliance requirements, as well as injury prevention methods. Expertise in data analysis, trend identification, and root cause analysis related to safety and quality. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence both leadership and operational teams.
