Role Description:

As an Engineer II, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, collaborating across the organization to ensure a seamless experience for our developer community while upholding the highest standards of security and availability. Our Digital Experience division excels in delivering top-notch technology products and services in a rapidly evolving environment where priorities can change swiftly. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor with technical expertise in languages such as GO/Java, covering everything from front-end interfaces to back-end systems and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

In your role as Engineer II, you will:
- Design, scope, and construct scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the software development lifecycle
- Engage in design discussions and code evaluations with colleagues to enhance the quality of engineering across the organization
- Utilize programming languages such as Go, Java, C#, and other object-oriented languages, along with SQL and NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various Azure tools and services
- Share best practices consistently and refine processes within and across teams
- Develop product definitions and leverage your technical expertise to guide the project towards optimal solutions

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as GO, Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design principles
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools like Dynatrace, Sentry, and/or Grafana
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Competence in SQL query writing
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory)
- Understanding of PowerShell scripting
- Awareness of microservices architecture and extensible REST APIs
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Application Insights
- Knowledge of Azure PaaS and IaaS offerings
- Understanding of security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth
- Comprehension of DevOps principles, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework
- Fundamental understanding of Java programming
- Knowledge of Web Service APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like atmosphere

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in architecture and design
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- A minimum of 2 years working with open-source frameworks

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

Annual Salary:
$75,000 - $160,000. The salary range provided is a general guideline. Various factors are considered to determine the final hourly rate or annual salary for the selected candidate, including the role's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's work experience, education, training, work location, and market and business considerations.
