We are seeking an EHS Engineer III to join our team at Tokyo Electron U.S. Holdings, Inc.

About the Role

As an EHS Engineer III, you will be responsible for championing workplace safety and providing leadership through communication, education, and actions. You will conduct EHS training, perform detailed ergonomic analyses, research and apply regulatory and industry safety codes, and experience with PPE, industrial hygiene, and ergonomic assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion workplace safety and provide leadership through communication, education, and actions.
  • Conduct EHS training including, but not limited to: respiratory training and fit testing, fall protection, control of hazardous energies, qualified electrical worker, and ergonomics.
  • Perform detailed ergonomic analyses by collecting and interpreting data from employees and work environments, use various tools to evaluate risk, and collaborate with teams to propose and develop realistic solutions.
  • Research and apply regulatory and industry safety codes, such as OSHA, NFPA, NEC, SEMI, and ANSI.
  • Experience with PPE, industrial hygiene, and ergonomic assessments, make recommendations, and report on results.
  • Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis to drive system improvements.
  • Lead site safety committee meetings and manage closure of related action items.
  • Support the development of engineering and administrative controls to mitigate risk to target levels.
  • Cultivate internal and external customer relationships that drive implementation of safety systems or improvements that promote safe work habits.
  • Review and update EHS policies, procedures, and best known methods (BKMs) throughout the organization.
  • Provide safety coaching to employees and leadership that align with regional safety activities and initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of EHS experience.
  • CSP, CIH, CHMM, CPE certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, chemistry, biology, industrial hygiene, safety, or closely related field.
  • Strong preference for EHS experience at a semiconductor equipment manufacturing facility.
  • Knowledgeable in federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal communication and written skills.
  • Dependable, stable under pressure, and can easily adapt to change.

The estimated salary for this role is around $110,000 per year, based on national averages and considering the level of experience required. This figure may vary depending on location and other factors.
