As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering medical care to our Olympic sport teams, collaborating with our Athletic Medicine staff and team physicians, and assisting in the supervision of athletic training students and student workers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and collaborate with the Athletic Medicine staff and team physicians to deliver medical care to the Duke University Olympic sport teams.
- Supervise and mentor athletic training students and student workers.
- Participate in injury prevention analytics and research.
- Observe team physicians and allied healthcare professionals.
- Participate in surgical observation and other educational opportunities.
- BOC certification or certification eligible by start date.
- Maintain current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or Master's degree.
- Hourly pay (no benefits).
- State licensure fees.
- NATA membership fees.
- Liability insurance.
- Opportunities to work summer camps and other outside events.
