Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering direct care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position operates under the guidance and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
  • Maintain a vigilant awareness of residents' needs, ensuring their safety and comfort through attentive care.
  • Conduct vital sign checks, weight assessments, and specimen collection as required.
  • Document daily care activities in residents' health records accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance the quality of care and assist in training new staff.
  • Exhibit professionalism and confidence in interactions with residents, ensuring a tidy appearance and competent care delivery.
  • Communicate pertinent resident care information to the healthcare team to facilitate effective treatment.
  • Utilize downtime productively for tasks such as cleaning and stocking supplies.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures while providing care to residents.
  • Demonstrate a calm and efficient approach to resident care, contributing positively to the team environment.
  • Complete assigned unit support tasks as directed by nursing staff.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Current CNA License in Montana.
  • Prior experience as a CNA with positive references preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift up to 75 pounds when necessary.
