Job Summary
The InsideHigherEd Department of Economics invites economists with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics and/or monetary economics to apply for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level. This position is an excellent opportunity for a scholar to join a dynamic academic community and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in macroeconomics and/or monetary economics
- Conduct research in macro/money and labor or economic history
- Develop and implement a teaching philosophy that promotes diversity and inclusion in the classroom
- Participate in departmental service and contribute to the growth and development of the department
Qualifications
- PhD in Economics or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in teaching undergraduates
- Promising research agenda in macro/money and labor or economic history
- Commitment to creating a classroom environment that values diversity and inclusion
